The Syrian refugee crisis has forced over 300,000 Syrian children to seek shelter in Lebanon, unable in many cases to attend school. Horizons International’s MENA team founded the School of Hope educational program and ministry to encourage these children toward a brighter future.

Only 60 out of 120 refugee children between the ages of 5 and 12 have been sponsored to attend the School of Hope, where they are taught the gospel and core Syrian curriculum. Through Jesus and their education, we help give these children and their families a reason to hope.

The monthly cost is $55/US. Our system is set up for Canadian currency.

For every child we help, there are many more in need. You can sponsor a child for $65 a month to attend the School of Hope in Beirut, Lebanon. Your contribution covers all their educational needs, including tuition, books, supplies, and snacks.

How much can you give to transform a refugee child’s life?

We encourage you to pray for these children. For each child you sponsor, you will receive a personal card that includes their photo, name, age, and simple biographical information. Additionally, we will send you periodic updates and encourage you to send an occasional card or gift (under $10 value, please) so you can interact with them and let them know you are praying for them.
